// 01 the training week
Badminton stays on its 3 evenings. Strength fills two gaps: one home session on Tuesday evening, one on Thursday evening, plus a bigger barbell session at the society gym on Sunday morning. Saturday is a full rest day.

Antagonist supersets (the two moves back-to-back, rest ~75 s, repeat). Click any exercise name to see its form diagram and cues.
Session A · Sunday · society gym — barbell lower + overhead
~50–60 min · straight sets, rest ~2 min on the big lifts · this is hypertrophy, not a max-out

Run them antagonist supersets (do the paired moves back-to-back, rest ~75 s, repeat) to fit ~40 min. Alternate sessions: week 1 = A·B·C each week (Sun·Tue·Thu). Tempo notation 3-1-1-0 = 3 s eccentric, 1 s bottom pause, 1 s concentric, 0 s top pause.
// 04 progression
Your old routine plateaued because nothing forced it to get harder. With the Cult dumbbells (2.5–24 kg) you have every lever, including load. Run double progression — climb the cheaper rungs first so each load jump lands only once you've earned it:
1 · add reps — hit the top of the range on all sets (e.g. 20/20/20)
2 · slow the negative — push the lowering to 3–4 s before adding anything
3 · harder variation — incline→flat→archer pushup; knee→straight-leg raise; assisted→full pull-up; rollout partial→full→from toes
4 · add the band — extra tension on pushups, rows, presses
5 · add a set — 3 → 4 working sets
6 · add load — dial the Cult dumbbells up to the next increment. This becomes your main driver for legs, back, and presses — use it
// 05 session log
Since you version everything, the natural home for this is a file in your repo — commit it like code ([train] log session B · wk3). Copy this template, fill weight×reps per set, and the trend tells you when to advance. One glance at last week's numbers is your progression decision. One-sided lifts (split squat, one-arm row) log left/right — the gap between the two is the thing to close.

1 · You have real load — use it. Cult 24 kg adjustable dumbbells (2.5–24 kg per hand, 15 increments) cover a long runway for every lift. Legs and back hit the ceiling first — pair with weighted unilateral moves (Bulgarian split squats at 16–20 kg each hand are brutal). Sunday gym handles anything beyond 24 kg.
2 · Protect sleep and study. Recovery happens at night — don't trade the 8 hours for a late study push. Putting strength on Tue/Thu evenings keeps your morning study block intact every weekday; the only training that owns a morning is the Sunday gym trip.
3 · Creatine is the one supplement worth starting. 3–5 g/day monohydrate — the most evidence-backed, safe, cheap supplement for muscle gain. Any time of day, just be consistent.
